Danny Euceda paints as a way to a bright and prosperous future while being in touch with his community. He finds joy in the play of color and experimenting with energetic gestural brushstrokes. Nature has taught him many lessons in art and in being creative.

His subject matter is usually landscapes because it reminds him of the past and cityscapes because it grounds him to reality. His process focuses includes plein air painting to experience Nature as well as in studio studies or objects. The technique of gestural, energetic and brush strokes are influenced by the work of abstract expressionist Joan Mitchell.

His work is unique because of the combination of energetic music and style of graffiti and street art and turns it into an abstract painting. The image of beauty, positivity and leisure are not easily found in the communities he grow up in.

Danny’s artwork represents taking negative and turning it into a positive. Then taking a steps towards the future and thriving.
